The Beccaria Fellowship

A quick internet search reminds us that Cesare Bonesana-Beccaria was an Italian criminologist, jurist, philosopher, and politician. He is often considered one of the most talented jurists and thinkers of the Age of Enlightenment.  It seems only appropriate that he guide our endeavors here, as we each go through our own professional enlightenment and continue our journeys into the fields he helped to pioneer. We seek to do this together - as colleagues, fellows, and friends.

​While we are still growing our membership, we want to acknowledge our Founding Members and welcome our newcomers. We want to express how excited we are that we have the support and camaraderie of our colleagues as we function in the world as psychology professionals.  Some of us are in practice, some are in research, and others are working on implementation.  We encompass a wide range of ideas and concerns, and this is a place we can go to brainstorm, seek feedback or consultation, and fine tune research concepts.

This group should operate as any other list based discussion group with an archive through Google Groups.  Joining the list will allow you access to the group’s page to view the messages, which are being archived in the group. Please remember that there is a public archive available, so be careful when you choose what information to provide on the forum.
 
Please encourage others to join our group.  Although joining is not available to the general “public” from the group page, feel free to have any potential members email us directly at info[at]rifn[dot]org.  Existing members can also be suggest new members to the group by email.  We will be happy to make sure invitations are sent out so we can be a meaningful forum for professional discussion.
 
As we begin our journey, we are open to any feedback that you can provide which could help us be more efficient or productive. Thank you again for participating in this new endeavor.  I look forward to hearing from you all!
