We grow up hearing that parenting is tough but being a single parent makes the journey all the more challenging. It’s not because it’s uncanny but because it comes with its own unique set of challenges and without understanding those roadblocks, one cannot be or help a single parent learn the right coping mechanisms and skills to make the journey of single parenthood worthwhile and jubilant. Most don't choose to be a single parent but when circumstances go south, one is left with no other choice than being a steadfast parent given their kids' needs. Be it an outcome of a divorce, a spouse’s death, or conflict; no one can deny the hurdles and trials a single parent faces on the way. Have you ever come across the term, juvenile rehabilitation? Well, juveniles are those under 18 and when they get involved in delinquent acts we choose to focus on rehabilitation. These children sometimes commit antisocial acts that may include a crime or violation of rules but they are dealt differently than adults.
