Ways To Relieve Body Stress

If you go through severe stress episodes in your life, don’t worry – we all experience it. Whether it is because of workload, illness of a loved one, or any minor inconveniences that just throw us off our game. According to research, almost 70% of people in the world experience stressful situations in their day-to-day lives - and due to this stress, their body starts flooding with hormones that make them feel sick and anxious. Not only this, but their heart starts pounding, they feel breathless, and every inch of their muscles are tensed. Ever felt those stubborn muscle knots? Yes, that is just stress. ​
That doesn’t mean you should remain in that uncomfortable condition and do nothing about it. Body Clench
This is a basic and the most effective exercise you can do to relieve body stress. All you need to do is go through your body. You have to start with your toes and go through your body while clenching all of your muscles, especially the tiny ones on your face. Then, keep your whole body clenched, hold and release. Trust me; you will feel all the stress leaving your body.

Avoid Multi-tasking
We should try our best to stop and avoid multi-tasking as it is also a factor that contributes to body stress and increases the production of stress hormones. Using your phone while working or playing games, watching movies while texting someone, or driving a vehicle while talking to someone are forms of multi-tasking that can cause body and mind stress. So, go easy on yourself, and do one thing at a time.

Naam Yoga Hand Trick
The Naam Yoga hand trick is a simple yoga method that can relieve body stress. Use your fingertips to apply pressure to the space between the knuckles of your index and middle fingers. This will create a sense of immediate relaxation by activating a nerve that loosens the area around your heart. It may sound dangerous but there is nothing to worry about, it is a very helpful and effective technique. 

Try Baking 
It may sound strange but baking at home can also reduce and relieve body stress as well as mental stress. The smell of freshly baked food can make people feel calm and comforted. Many people find baking stress relieving and adding decorative touches to your creation can give you a sense of pride, and after baking, eating the food you baked yourself also gives you a sense of pleasure.

Remember: Stress is natural, and it is a normal response your body gives to tension. So, there is nothing to worry about. Just follow the tips we mentioned above, and get rid of the condition immediately!
