Justice Involved Individuals:
|
Pretrial, Probation, and Parole Support |
Being involved with the courts can be a challenging and stressful experience. Therapy provides a supportive environment where you can express your feelings, fears, and frustrations. Your therapist can help you identify and address the underlying issues that led to your legal troubles, process your emotions, and develop healthier coping mechanisms. This may include trauma counseling, anger management, conflict resolution, decision-making, impulse control, effective communication, and transition or release support as needed.

Sentencing Related Evaluations |
Sometimes we find ourselves in situations where we truly are facing the possibility of being judged by the courts. Make sure the courts have a full picture of the person you are. You are not your worst decision, and your story matters. We will work with your attorney to conduct an evaluation of you to see if there is information that might be overlooked in your situation. Are you an abuse survivor? Are you dealing with impulsivity? Are you facing the challenges of an undiagnosed mental health condition? These things matter and while we cannot predict what we will see when we conduct our evaluation, we do know that you are entitled to be viewed and evaluated as a whole person.

Risk Assessments |
Risk assessment is done to evaluate the potential risks and dangers associated with an individual's behavior or circumstances. In the context of criminal courts, it is employed to assess the likelihood of reoffending and the potential harm posed to society. By completing a risk assessment, you can provide a court with the ability to make informed decisions on your sentencing, treatment, or supervision which are tailored to your individual's level of risk. Moreover, risk assessments help identify underlying factors that may contribute to problem behavior, paving the way for targeted rehabilitation efforts.
